Meccha Matcha is a matcha-centric tea and dessert shop that started in Plano, Texas (2018) and now runs shops in California and Pennsylvania. It is known for ceremonial-grade matcha from Okabe, Japan served at three intensity levels, alongside house-made soft serve, parfaits, and matcha baked goods.
Founded by Joseph Be, with the first store opening in Plano, Texas in 2018 before the concept moved west. The Artesia, California shop is co-owned and run by cousins/sisters Sitavy Thorng and Sinavy Sao as a family-style business; a Long Beach, California location soft-opened in 2026, and the official locations page also lists a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania shop. The brand sources ceremonial-grade matcha from Okabe, Japan and builds its menu around three matcha intensity levels.
